Nice...looks like the same setup they used for the PS3; I'm still hoping that a built-in interface is coming soon with a new firmware update.

Putting in a disc?

We bought a Wii this past week and didn't know Netflix was coming to the Wii. I guess for some it's good if they don't have other consoles to access it with, but for us we'll stick to the xbox 360 to view netflix movies.

Yeah, it's a bit awkward but it doesn't bother me much. I think for Wii owners without either of the other consoles, this would be a good thing.

Tbh I think that having to put in a disc which will take all of 10 seconds is better than no netflix.

I concur; that's how I feel about the PS3 version.

Also read that they are doing a survey of nintendo DS owners to see if brining netflix to that device will be worth it.

Yeah, they've also been talking about the iPhone/iPod touch, too. I think Netflix is going to take over the world, it's only a matter of time.

While I would rather not have the disc myself I do have to say that I like the PS3 Netflix dashboard a bit better then I like the Xbox's, at least the initial dash. Once you get into a TV series it can be a bit of a pain in the butt to move through the episodes but the layout to me seems to be cleaner and more fluid to move through.

Then again this is just my opinion and they are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink.

Got my disc Saturday and loaded it up...didn't actually play a movie, but looked at the queue. I'm only using composite cables right now (I KNOW, Cerb, I'm working on it ) but it didn't look too bad. Not as good as my PS3 (HDMI), but not horrible.

Netflix for all web-enabled smart-phones is the last step. I can't really think of anything else after that they they already haven't done.

Netflix on your microwave oven. You know it's the next step.
